For family pictures 2 to 3 weeks are adequate.

Saturdays are very popular and are booked about 4-5 weeks in advance.

For maternity and newborn pictures, you should book at the end of second or beginning of third trimester.  We can make all the practical arrangements and when your baby arrives, there is nothing to worry about except a phone call to confirm or reschedule the day and time. Newborns under 10 days will be prioritized.

My baby has a rash, scratch or mark on her face? Can you fix it,  or must we postpone the shoot?

Small blemishes can easily be fixed in post-production. As long as baby is not very sick, feverish or generally very unhappy, there is no need to postpone.

How do I go about giving somebody a gift voucher?

Gift vouchers are available for any of the packages advertised on the website. Upon receipt of payment, a gift voucher can either be collected in Centurion, it can be snail-mailed to your own address or the address of the recipient, or we can e-mail you a .jpeg image of the gift voucher and you can print, package and present it to your own discretion.

What size prints do you provide?

The prints provided with most packages are standard jumbo's (10x15 cm) or A5 (10x20 cm).

If you would like larger prints this can easily be arranged - mail or phone me for a quote.

Can you get rid of stretchmarks and dark pigmentation?

We certainly can.
We do not get rid of birthmarks and moles unless requested to.

We will edit out pimples and scratches.

Will Daddy be included in the maternity and newborn pictures?

Daddy and siblings are included in all shoots. Please enquire about extended family or friends. Individual pictures, Mom-and-baby combo, Daddy-and-baby combo and family pictures will all be included.

Do you edit images for artistic effect?

We do basic editing like brigtening and contrast,skin tone correction and  blemish removal but we do not add objects that were not included in the original set-up. We do not insert people that werent present in the first place and I dont replace faces.

We hand-edit each and every picture and you will get to choose between colour and monotone images for your collection.

Any special requests or re-edits will be assessed and quoted for by the hour.

If you come to my home, what do you bring with and what do you need?

Home shoots are considered lifestyle photography with natural light and your home and garden will serve as the backdrop for the pictures. We will bring props and backdrops for newborn shoots.

Do you have props and toys?

We have a generous selection of props, toys, tutu's, feathers and draping in the studio. We cannot cart everything along with me on location shoots so if you have some ideas or have seen props used in my gallery, please ask for it. We do encourage clients to bring along some special unique piece of clothing, toy or blanket, just to make your pictures different from everybody else's.

Where are your studios located?

The studio is in Centurion, on the Midrand border. It is about 25 km from Fourways on the N14, 25 km from Rivonia on the N1 and 30 km from Pretoria north.

Will you travel outside of Jhb and Pta?

For Portrait parties we will travel, but we will need a minimum number of attendees required per party.

For normal packages we will travel as well, within reason.

First 50km travel is free, travel cost of R3 per kilometer is charged after 50 km

Do you do weddings as well?

Although I do not market for weddings I do a limited number of weddings a year. I work together with an assistant and an associate photographer as well.

What if my baby or child doesn't co-operate and you dont get any good pictures?

I always get the shot, even with a crying baby or unhappy toddler. I might just have to try a bit longer. I have never had to cancel a shoot or had clients who complained that their child did not look happy on a single picture.

And lastly,my most frequently asked question - WHERE DO YOU GET THE PATIENCE? You had endless patience with my newborn/toddler/teenager!

My babies are 11 months apart and they are both toddlers! THAT is where I get my patience!
