I am a full-time professional photographer in Gauteng who owns a studio in Centurion, on the Midrand border. I also travel in Pretoria and Johannesburg areas and surrounds for shoots in the comfort of your home.

My style of photography is rather minimalistic. My photography is pure, natural and clean.

I do use props but I try not to abuse them. I do a lot of fine editing on my pictures but I try to avoid the overedited look. Pictures of babies and pregnant mommies must portray emotion and purity, or thats what I try at least. In my opinion that is the most challenging style of photography (but I would say that!) as you can't fix mistakes with overediting, you have to get it right in camera. You cannot get away with a bad picture becase the child is wearing a cute Sunflower outfit!

I dont adorn my pictures with scrapbook elements, textures, frames and all the bells and whistles. There certainly is a place and a market for that, but my personal style is simplistic and pure.

My studio has been described as relaxed, comfortable and fun. It was decorated and equipped with babies and kids in mind, and if Mom and Dad can relax as well, the pictures will be great and the experience will be remembered.

People often ask me: Why baby photography? Why don't you photograph landscapes and weddings? I always get tongue-tied trying to answer this - I have so many answers the words fall over each other to come out. The simplest answer is this - you have to do the one thing that makes you happy to wake up in the morning and excited to start the day, and for me that is family photography, and doing what I'm best at - pictures of babies and children.

Say your house is in flames and you have to run in and save one thing - what would it be? 99% of people would say they would go save their photographs. So here's the thing - if you're going to be running into a burning building for them, those baby photographs better be worth it!!

A photo session with me will truly be something precious, the experience will be something for all to enjoy and the picture memories created will be precious for eternity.
