Terms and conditions:

 

1. All bookings require a R500 non-refundable booking fee.
2. Full payment is due on/or before day of shoot. NO editing will be done until full payment is received.
3. As a courtesy to the photographer, no other cameras, cell phone cameras or video recorders will be allowed before, during or after the shoot. If this is not respected the shoot will be stopped immediately and considered complete and no money refunded.
4. Editing takes 14-21 days, no exceptions and no correspondence will be entered into. During peak season (Dec to mid Jan) editing time will be 4-6 weeks.
5. If you are late for your session, your session will be shortened accordingly. Shooting time will not be adjusted for late-comers. We have clients in slots after yours that cannot be inconvenienced.
6. If you are more than 20 minutes late, your session will be cancelled and you will forfeit booking fee. A rescheduling fee of R500 will apply to make another booking.
7. In case of an early delivery (missed maternity shoots), booking fee will be used towards newborn shoot.
8. A family shoot comprises of one household only (2 parents and up to 4 siblings). Extra members will be charged at R200 each.
9. It will be the responsibility of the parents/guardians to pay for any damage to studio equipment caused by children in their care during the shoot.
10. For outside location shoots, if weather does not permit, the shoot will be either rescheduled or moved to studio.
11. Proof pictures will remain online for a maximum of 30 days. If order is not received it that time, the photographer will make the selection at own discretion.
12. Basic retouching, blemish removal and editing will be done. Any special editing requests will be evaluated and quoted at R450/hour.
13. Copyright and intellectual property of all images remain with adore’ photography. Pictures may be used for, but not limited to marketing, advertising and portfolio, both digital, in print and on social media. Client may opt to not have images used for marketing but copyright still remains with adore’ photography.
14. If pictures are to be used on internet, web, social sites or photo-sharing programs, credit must be given to adore’ photography.
15. For pictures to be used in ads, media, printing or any commercial use, licensing release must be obtained from adore’ photography.
16. Although we take the utmost care with your images and keep backups of all shoots we cannot be held responsible for images lost due to theft or computer failures (ex. crashed hard drive or viruses). In this unfortunate event, if final gallery has not been released to client yet, an immediate reshoot will be done. If final gallery has been released, adore’ photography has no responsibility to the client for the images.
17. Digital images will be provided edited, via download, in JPEG format
18. Photobook selection and draft design need to be finalized within 60 days of last shoot, thereafter all onus lies with photographer to select images, design and print photo book at own discretion. You will receive a draft to approve and make changes on. If no reply is received within 48 hours we will go to print with draft design unchange
19. We will not be held responsible for injury, theft or damage on our premises.
20. Should you not honor your appointment, the booking fee is non-transferable or refundable.In the case of voucher clients, if you do not show up for your booking, you forfeit the voucher for that shoot.
21. In case of emergency where a shoot needs be rescheduled, a R500 rescheduling fee will need to be paid.
22. Pictures may NOT be edited, enhanced or changed in any way, by anybody except adore’ photography. This is a copyright infringement. This includes any filters and apps.
23. Weekend shoot rescheduling – if less than 5 days’ notice is given booking fee is forfeited and rescheduling fee of R500 applies. Should you reschedule a Saturday/Sunday slot, we will substitute only with a weekday slot.
