Maternity packages
I am Jackie. I have been photographing pregnant women in Centurion, Pretoria and Johannesburg for over 17 years. The studio wardrobe handles the outfit question, I guide every pose, and sessions are relaxed and unhurried.
After three pregnancies of my own, I get it. Pregnancy is incredible, but it also comes with exhaustion, swollen feet and the occasional what did I just cry about? moment. Sessions are designed to be as easy as possible. I take care of the details. You just show up.
The studio wardrobe of flattering maternity dresses is complimentary for studio sessions. Professional hair and makeup is available on selected packages or as an add-on. A prep guide is sent before your session so there is nothing to figure out on the day.
When to book
Between 34 and 36 weeks is the sweet spot. Your bump is beautifully round and you are still (somewhat) comfortable.
Three settings, one address
All sessions take place at my Centurion studio. Three options, all on-site, no location logistics required.
The Studio
Clean, calm and warm with a full wardrobe of maternity dresses. Timeless, unfussy images in natural-looking light.
The Grassfield
Wide-open outdoor space on the property, flooded with natural light. Airy and relaxed without actually going anywhere.
The Greenhouse
Light-filled with glass panels and greenery. Soft, organic quality that works particularly well for bump portraits.

Maternity packages & pricing
Packages start from R1,400 midweek. Options range from a 30-minute Simplicity session through to the Just Breathe package with professional makeup and multiple locations. A combined maternity and newborn package is also available.

Everything you need to know before your session
You can book the date earlier in pregnancy, then do the actual shoot later. It is best not to leave the booking too late, especially if you want a weekend or a specific outdoor light slot.
No, not necessarily. The studio wardrobe is available for maternity sessions, so you do not have to panic-buy a dress you will wear once and resent slightly. You are also welcome to bring your own outfit if you prefer something more personal.
Yes, if you book an hour slot, this leaves enough time to swap between locations, if we book it in the late afternoon.
Almost everyone does. You do not need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. I guide you through the session so it feels calm, flattering and not like you have been abandoned in front of a camera.
If baby surprises us and arrives before your maternity shoot, the non-refundable booking fee will be transferred to a newborn shoot if done within 12 weeks of the original date.
