Stress-Free, Natural Newborn Photography
Bringing a newborn home is amazing—but also a little overwhelming. As a mom of four, I know those first few weeks are a blur of feeding, burping, nappy changes, and wondering if you’ll ever sleep again. The thought of planning a newborn photoshoot? That can feel like climbing Mount Everest.
That’s why I make it easy. My newborn photography sessions are designed to be simple, relaxed, and completely stress-free. I take care of most of the planning for you, and I even have flattering dresses for moms to wear, so you don’t have to worry about what to put on. All you need to do is book your session, read my prep guide, and show up on time—I’ll handle the rest.
When to Book Your Newborn Photoshoot
The best time for a newborn session is within the first two weeks after birth when babies are still super sleepy and curly. Since this window is small, it’s best to book your newborn session during your last trimester—that way, everything is sorted before baby arrives, and you don’t have to stress about making arrangements while running on two hours of sleep.
Of course, I know life happens! Maybe you didn’t book in advance, or maybe your baby arrived early and spent time in the hospital. Don’t stress—I happily photograph babies up to 6 weeks old as newborns! Older than that and we change it up to a family photoshoot – baby will still be photographed solo as well as with family members but minus the wraps and props.
What’s Included in Your Newborn Session?
Full family involvement – Parents and siblings are always included (except Purity does not include siblings).
Props, baskets & accessories – Soft, neutral options that keep the focus on your baby.
A relaxed, baby-led approach – No unnatural poses, no pressure—just natural, beautiful newborn photos.
If you’re looking for timeless, authentic newborn photos without the stress, let’s get your session booked!
